Car import for U.S. buyers

Cars America
never got.

We buy at auction in Japan, the UK, Germany, Korea and the UAE, ship it, and clear it legally. You get the keys.

02Port

Won, checked,
boxed.

We inspect in person, translate the auction sheet, deregister the car for export and load it, container or roll-on/roll-off. Photos at each step.

Usually 5–10 days after the win

03Sea

Tracked the
whole way.

Fully insured. You get a message at departure, at transshipment and on arrival, so you never have to ask where it is.

3–6 weeks, depending on the route

04Customs

Cleared before
it lands.

At 25 years or older, a car is exempt from U.S. safety and emissions standards. We file ISF, HS-7 and EPA 3520-1 and pay the duty. Younger? We tell you before you bid.

Customs and release: 2–5 days

05Delivery

Keys, title,
done.

Open or enclosed transport from the port to your driveway, with a title in your state. From winning bid to driveway: usually 8–12 weeks.
